Whether you are just sticking your big toe in the water to test the idea, or you are a seasoned clown ready to dive into the deep end, we invite you to join us for an unforgettable and magical week immersed in the world of clowning. Our Clowning 101 course sets beginners on the right path and our courses in Caring Clowning, Puppets, Hometown Clowning, Exploring Clown Skills and more are great for experienced clowns ready to up their game and polish their funny. Check our schedule online to see the variety of Courses, Workshops, Labs, Jams, and other educational opportunities available throughout the week, all taught by seasoned professionals in the Art of Clowning. Our caring and experienced Staff will push you, pull you, guide you, coax you, and coach you to your next level of success! Oh, and it goes without saying that we are going to throw in some top notch shows and a healthy dose of fun too! The question isn’t ‘Why should I go to Moose Camp?’ but ‘Why have I waited so long?!?!’

Our non-profit program promotes literacy, kindness, and joy through clowning. A certified Red Nose Reader reads a story, shares a message of kindness, and plays with kids or seniors, helping people see clowns as caring, friendly folks who spread laughter.

Meet Miss Moose

Hi! I’m Tricia Manuel, better known as Pricilla Mooseburger or Miss Moose. My clown career began in 1980 and took me through the circus, hometown clowning, costume design, and clown arts education.

My daughter Julia and our amazing cast of characters would love to help you on your clown journey. Because we ARE clowns, we know what clowns need.

I am always amazed that so many of us connect and enjoy finding out more about each other. Loved the course I did this year - puppet and clown partnership. So great to have time to play and try things out with our puppets! Enjoyed listening to and discovering even more from Earl Chaney and Ron Severini.
